Prof Flores will present a 15 min extract from "Las Sillas" (together with Sofia Palomina teacher at ENSAD and the Director of ENSAD; Jorge Sarmiento) on the 21st July at the III FESTIVAL DULCINA DE ESCENAS CORTAS in Brazil.

Michael Beron is a German volunteer from Germany who is helping Prof Flores with Performing Arts classes in two primary schools in Villa Maria del Triunfo and San Juan de Miraflores.

Prof F Flores appointed Cultural and Sport Representative for Ex-Mayor Washington Ipenza's political campaign for Mayor of Villa Maria del Triunfo.

"Neu Markt", a Theatrical Group from Zurich in Switzerland, have very kindly helped them with their course fees and travel costs.
The three students intend working in the Learning/Cultural Centre when they have finished their studies.

The NGO Asociación Atocongo has agreed to fund the teaching of the Performing Arts in a primary school in Villa Maria del Triunfo.
Despite this being in only 1 of 158 schools in the area, this is a MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT as there isn't a single state school in the District (and possibly in the whole of Peru) that does this.
A Theatrical Workshop, taught by Prof. Fernando Flores, has existed in 5 schools in the District for 4 years.

Einer Roman (15 years old) has been selected to attend the (free) Escuela Mayor in Chosica. This is a new state secondary school whose purpose is to provide education for the best Peruvian students.
Einer lives in Villa Maria del Triunfo and studied at xxx secondary school. He has been part of Fernandos Pies Descalzos theatrical group for 3 years. Fernando coached him on his verbal presentation exam; topic chosen was "How can the Performing Arts help kids who are members of street gangs?".
